About
Marian Theatre Project
This collection of short plays brings you closer "to Jesus through Mary"...
Using the Holy Rosary as a foundation, the Gospels, and inspired by books and films, these plays bring Our Lady to us in these stormy times. The Blessed Mother is not only a beautiful painting or statue, she was part of a family who experienced great joy, great sorrow, and great struggles, and she knows you experience this too...
These performances will touch you with a deeper understanding of Mary's role as our refuge, our Mother of Mercy, and will inspire you to prayerfully combat the "culture of death" that surrounds us.
A live performance of one or all three plays is a unique experience for parish missions, retreats, faith formation, and fundraising events.

About
the creator of Marian Theatre Project
In 2015 I sat at my dining room table while feeding my youngest son and the front page of the newspaper got my attention. There was a still picture from a video of Christians in orange jumpsuits lined up on a beach about to become martyrs. I thought, “well, this is only going to get worse before it gets better, what am I waiting for?”
That day I began to plan how I would bring a long brewing idea of transforming the Rosary into short plays. I’m grateful the Holy Spirit inspired me to merge my faith and passion for theatre to create the Marian Theatre Project. My mother (and her devotion to our Blessed Mother) encouraged me to write these short plays years before that headline, but when I saw that image, I knew it was time to take action.
Though Our Lady doesn't say much in Scripture, when she does speak, miracles happen. Between my imagination, the Holy Rosary, what Scripture and the mystics offer us, and of course, the Holy Spirit, there is plenty for me to work with in portraying only Mary. I have created a collection of short plays based on the Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries. I like to think of the performance as a version of Lectio Divina.
I have asked Our Lady of Good Remedy to take reins of this project and while her timing is not my timing (patience is not a virtue I have), she has always led me down the right path... which ultimately leads to her Son. I’m a lifelong resident of Massachusetts where I live with my husband and our three boys. Over the years, I have built a coaching practice, created and hosted retreats, launched the Keep Blooming podcast, and I am a contributing writer for Catholic Women in Business. I’m blessed to be a member of the Love Crucified community, whose mission is to bring to the Lord victim souls for these decisive times.
